As part of the BMW style guide, the Exploded UI Diagram was created to aid in UI design for not only designers but the development teams as well. As features are built out the diagram illustrates how common elements and their properties are layered from the base color on up. Used in tandem with the style guide and pattern library the Exploded UI Diagram helps ensure the same quality is put into new features.
