Here we go, this is my first post on the last day of what was a pretty uneventful year. I am new to this blogging thing and I am counting on myself to keep this updated at least once a month. However, the unfortunate reality of life is that long stretches of time can pass without anything being blog-worthy.

Will this be my year? Who knows. It’s off to a good start though, tonight I will be seeing one of my favorite bands whom 9 years ago played their “last” show with the Flaming Lips at the Metro. I did not attend because if you remember… Y2K… The world as going to end.  Well, it didn’t, and I am fortunate to see HUM tonight in a 2nd appearance since their “last” show in 2000.
